Op-ed: After a budget not fit for purpose and with a Chancellor that fits the same assessment, the Tory game plan rolls on.
Shout as loud as you can during PMQs, try to goad the opposition and put the party opposite at odds, sneak legislation through when parliament is due to go into recess and privatise whatever they can in the great British fire sale no doubt helping fat friends along the way.
If you believe that any of that is for the good of the country and we the people you are delusional.
Cameron is already sunning himself in Lanzarote ahead of wife Sam Cam's arrival and after advising we the great unwashed to take staycations to help flood hit areas of the UK recover.
With his eat and drink as much as you like band around his chubby wrist he once again fails to lead by example and that is on all fronts.
So what was the sneaky legislation this time?
Plans to privatise the Land Registry were announced at 5pm the night before the Easter holidays.
As the Daily Mirror reports Osborne has had Land Registry in his sights for years; "the agency, which controls all property transactions in England and Wales."
Once again the failed Conservative one nation legislation will not hit Scotland or Northern Ireland.
The Liberal Democrats shot themselves in the foot by forming a coalition government with the Tories but they did manage to block some legislation during their five years in bed with the Tories and that included plans to privatise Land Registry.
The Daily Mirror report continues:
He [Osborne] reportedly called in investment bank Rothschild to examine options for its sale in November.
But Osborne's big British sell off along, with budget cuts hitting some of the poorest people in the UK, has failed to ease budget deficit woes and balance the books.
It was never about austerity but the Tory game plan pure and simple.
If you are an ordinary person in the UK and you still believe that plan includes YOU it is time you woke up.
PM Cameron claims he does not want to leave the next generation loaded down with debt but what he is doing is making sure the next generation of Tories are sitting pretty and the country has no assets left.
Cameron's idiotic spin at PMQs about the next generation did not fool many.
His kids after all will inherit the wealth he did, and some, when he shuffles off giving them the same level of privilege he has enjoyed.
They are set up to win from day one.
How many poor families and people with disabilities will be leaving a nice cash sum and highly priced property for their next generation? How many can even afford to keep their heads above the water?
If the Land Registry is a financial success it needs to stay in public hands not those of a few Tory cronies.
