There has been a major incident at the site of a decommissioned power station in Didcot, Oxfordshire, England.
Demolition work has been ongoing at the power station since it was closed and decommissioned around three years ago, in a series of phases, but none were reportedly scheduled for today.
A building has collapsed and although reports of an explosion are not confirmed and have been denied by some there are reports that a loud bang was heard. That may have been the building collapsing.
One man is dead, three more are missing and five people sustained injuries.
The emergency services responded quickly and in force after the building collapse a little after 4pm GMT Tuesday.
The Oxford Mail reports "Half of the Boiler House building collapsed just after 4pm and sniffer dogs on the scene searching for signs of life."
Karen Farrington posted footage of the explosion on Twitter whichyou can view here; as she writes her niece took the footage of the aftermath at Didcot Power Station.
