Once again it highlights why you should not necessarily believe MSM reports.
Ms Lucas explains her position well via the Independent. She unlike too many Labour MPs does not attack Corbyn but rather praises the man.
The MSM descended on the Stop the War coalition Christmas dinner Friday evening making it a big story but in reality it wasn't.
Mr Corbyn made his views on further and seemingly pointless conflict in Syria perfectly clear during the recent Commons debate and vote on UK airstrikes in that country.
He has stuck by a long held belief that war is not always the answer.
He has been under fire constantly since being elected party leader on September 12 and is more often than not in a no win situation.
If he had refused a long standing invitation to attend the Stop the War Coalition Christmas bash he would have been attacked as a turncoat. But if the establishment hope that would have resulted in some supporters turning their back on Corbyn they are mistaken.
The man may not always get the respect of positive attention he deserves from his own MPs but his supporters have more backbone.
True Labour party supporters will also get behind Corbyn whether he was their election chose or not – his election was democracy at work.
Those so-called Labour supporters, such as Tony Blair who wrote a damning piece on Corbyn for presumably his allotted pieces of silver, are working hard to undermine and ultimately remove Mr Corbyn as party leader.
Talk of de-selection of ‘enemies’ within the party do not attract empathy from this Labour Party member.
Some seem to think it is OK to try to undermine the party leader, refuse to work with him in cabinet and yet expect to be able to keep their well-paid jobs.
They need to get real and so do Mr Corbyn and the whole Labour party.
The five years between now and the next general election will pass almost in the blink of an eye and the time to sort of party problems and become united is NOW. Dirty laundry should not be aired in public but enemies within the party such as Simon Danczuk have no party loyalty.
A report in the IBT titled “Labour anti-Corbyn 'stalking horse' Simon Danczuk is a wealthy buffoon and a traitor” hits the nail on the head.
As social media makes its voice heard on this story "Vince Cable [Lib Dem] one of 40 MPs on guest list for arms dealers dinner in London" from February is back.
There will be many more showing that money and business continues to play its part in new conflicts.
Give me a party leader who attends a Christmas dinner for an organisation dedicated to peace and stopping war any time rather than a war-mongering money-grabbing politician prepared to commit to mass slaughter for various agendas.
