When Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of the Labour party one group of people were allegedly not fans. That group of people were those aged 50 and over. So a group of suitably aged Corbyn fans created a Facebook page and as they say the rest is history. The group on Facebook now has more than 4,ooo members and continues to grow. Tuesday the group and others held a #toryelectionfraud Tweetstorm and this time it really did go down a storm. A number of members attended the London protest a while back and Wednesday a couple of members decided to use their initiative and some. Dorothy Badrick and at least one other ensured the group had a visible presence when police and journalists met with the electoral commission Wednesday in London to decide what next for allegations about Tory election fraud. Dorthy's report back follows: South East Massif50+ reporting from the City of London, outside the Electoral commision: Behind the light-hearted report are serious allegations. Did the Tory government in effect steal the 2015 General Election by overspending? http://www.newtekjournalismukworld.com/eileen-kersey/tory-election-fraud-the-story-that-will-not-go-away Look out for Corbyn 50yrs+ on Twitter and Facebook or on a street near you!

This is citizen journalism, and as a Corbyn 50 + member myself, I’m immensely proud of you

I'm delighted to see this. It's what democratic politics should be about - determined and well-informed citizens holding the Establishment to account in a polite but purposeful way.
