A hidden crime

Opinion: I am @Sunnyclaribel on Twitter and a child sex abuse survivor and campaigner.

I have spent the last few years putting my own views on Twitter and doing my best to stand up for survivors of child abuse and kids.

I have been absolutely amazed reading all the stories regarding 50 years of VIP paedophile 'cover ups'. It is like reading a horror story, but one that is true.

So many children have had their childhoods destroyed and the vast majority seem to have taken the abuse to their graves?

Why?

Because they are so frightened and traumatised being children, it makes it hard to ever speak out; this has got to change.

It is sad, but I think children need to know these monsters exist and, if they are assaulted, to always speak out. They might not have always been listened to in the past, but things are finally starting to change in the U.K.

Listening to David Mellor, an ex-M.P., Tory, on the attached link at youtube … makes my blood boil; playing the 'buffoon' won't work anymore.

A lot of what he is saying is rubbish and questions need putting to him to clarify what he means.

'No Recollection' won't wash any more.

Mellor needs to tell everyone what was discussed at the Child Sex Abuse meeting he attended with the late Leon Brittan and Geoffrey Dickens.

I have made three attempts to speak to Mr Mellor via @LBC and have got nowhere.

Ann Widdecombe, another ex-MP, Tory, commenting on the police (and saying any victims of Ted Heath, the late former Tory P.M., should come forward) responded by saying, 'They must know that by doing so they will attract the usual crop of fantasists, revenge-seekers and money-chasers.'

I think this is one of the nastiest comments I have ever heard from anyone, let alone an ex-MP.

I emailed her to say she should be ashamed of herself for spouting such rubbish, but she responded by telling me she isn't ashamed.

Well sorry, Ann Widdecombe, but I think you bloody well should be.

Terry Armstrong's life was ruined not once, but twice, because of paedophiles.

He was abused as a child by priests, and then lost his house because he hit a paedophile, an extended member of his family, when he found out he was abusing a five-year-old girl.

I think he has more guts in his little finger, than the majority of people running our country.

His MP had no interest in helping him or doing anything about the alleged paedophile ring in his constituency.

I cannot speak for others but I am sick to the back teeth of reading about the Human Rights of accused paedophiles being put before those of defenceless, traumatised kids'.

If you download child sex abuse images or sexually assault a child, the only place you should be in, is prison.

If everyone speaks up now, it won't just help the children and child sex abuse survivors of today, it will help future generations.

My view is 'Let every kid out there have a childhood they want to remember'.

I hope the nation agrees with me.

Sunnyclaribel @Sunnyclaribel on Twitter is a survivor; a survivor of child abuse that is.

She actively tries to help others, is a campaigner and her twitter bio is simply this - "VIP paedophile cover ups. Crime of the century against kids!!!"

Since February 7 she has had the following tweet pinned to her account - "CHILD SEX ABUSE - If every MP had experienced the absolute terror a child feels when assaulted by a paedo they'd be 650 standing up for them."

As the long journey for justice continues Sunny has a message for us all about "The Forgotten Children":

Since time began, paedophiles have roamed the earth, terrorising defenceless children, taken away their innocence and traumatised them so much, they have taken it to their graves.

I think ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and the WHOLE WORLD has a duty to help these children WHO CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!

All world leaders, all politicians AND EVERY PERSON ON THIS PLANET, has a duty to NOT LOOK THE OTHER WAY, BECAUSE IT MAKES LIFE AWKWARD FOR THEM.

MAKE LIFE AWKWARD!

SPEAK OUT AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS HORRENDOUS CRIME AGAINST CHILDREN.

I am a survivor myself, so I know how every other survivor and their family's feel and it took me over 30 years to get closure from a pervert.

He is dead, buried and in hell, but so many of them aren't.

I think that everyone out there owes it to the children to do something about it.

Never forget, it could be YOUR child who is taking this horror to their graves.

WHY THE HELL SHOULD THEY?
