Maybe the guard could sue her for defamation of character? Primark were quick to refute the allegation after viewing in-store CCTV footage. Surely Starmer realised that CCTV was in operation in the cut-price shopping Primark store? Perhaps it was one of those white lies that quickly snowballed and became out of control? Starmer made the accusation in a Facebook post and as is the way in 21st Century news the story was picked up and went viral in no time at all. In the post [on Facebook], she said she picked a quiet spot in Primark to feed her daughter but was then challenged by a security guard who asked her to leave."I stood my ground and stated my rights, that I can legally feed where I want," she wrote. Sentencing will be December 3.
